Explore the Outdoors at Winding Creek

Roseville’s trails provide a perfect opportunity to get outdoors and stay active with family and friends. Anthem United, developer of Winding Creek, will be an integral part of the continued growth, health, and well-being of Roseville. In addition to four future community parks, there will be 3.5 miles of biking and walking trails located within our master planned community.

1.2-miles of trails will be added first, connecting to the Pleasant Grove Creek Trail, extending what is currently Roseville’s second longest uninterrupted trail. Nature lovers will have many opportunities to walk or bike creekside, along the distinguished oak tree lined trails.

These new trails at Winding Creek will connect to the greater Roseville trail system which already boasts nearly 100 miles of on-street bike lanes and 36.2 miles of off-street bike paths.

With all these opportunities to explore the outdoors, it is no surprise that the City of Roseville was the first city in Placer County to be honored with the prestigious Bicycle Friendly Community Award in 2008 and 2017. Municipalities actively supporting cycling for fun, fitness and transportation receive the award from the Bicycle Friendly Communities Campaign.

Winding Creek is proud to offer these outdoor amenities and contribute to making Roseville one of the best places to live in the United States.

The addition of the trail system and 140 acres of forever protected land, will make it easier than ever for Winding Creek’s future residents to get outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds our family friendly community.

Travel Made Easier in West Roseville

Commuting in west Roseville just got a little more convenient with the completion of road construction connecting Blue Oaks Boulevard, Westpark Drive and Westbrook Boulevard.

Contracted by the City of Roseville, Anthem United, the developer of the highly anticipated Winding Creek community opening in early 2021, agreed to fund and construct these roads to make life to and from the community more accessible for its future residents and for the broader Roseville community.

Anthem United’s contribution to this road construction sees Blue Oaks Boulevard extend westward and northward, intersecting the Westbrook Boulevard extension. In addition, Westpark Drive North will meet Blue Oaks Boulevard, an undertaking which homebuilder Lennar was tasked with.

The road extensions are cost-effective and timely additions that will dramatically improve emergency response times by around 50% from Fire Station 9 to west Roseville. These additions will increase transportation flexibility for all, cutting time-consuming routes and easing congestion for not only emergency services vehicles needing to make haste but also ordinary residents on the go.

With more roads leading to where you need to be, life in Roseville is more connected than ever before. For more information on this project and to stay up to date on what’s happening in Roseville, click here.
