Roseville City School District Breaks Ground on Winding Creek Elementary School
This past week, an exciting new chapter for the Winding Creek community began as Roseville City School District, Balfour Beatty and HMC Architects came together to break ground on Winding Creek Elementary School.
Located in northeast Winding Creek on Celebrate Drive in Roseville, Winding Creek Elementary will be the district’s first and only two-story educational facility. Slated to open in the 2026-27 school year, this state-of-the-art campus will accommodate 650 students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to 6th grade.
The school will feature five buildings and 28 classrooms, designed to foster creativity and teamwork, with the goal of inspiring the next generation of learners. This project not only reflects the Roseville City School District’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence, but also represents a shared investment in the future of the Winding Creek neighborhood. With the district’s strong reputation for fostering academic achievement and community engagement, Winding Creek Elementary is poised to become a cornerstone of the area—offering families a high-quality public school experience in a modern, inspiring setting.
As the school begins to take shape, so too does the promise of greater opportunities and deeper community roots. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this exciting step forward, and we look forward to welcoming the first students through its doors in the years to come.
Known for its commitment to excellence, the Roseville City School District continues to provide top-tier education, and Winding Creek Elementary will be no exception, joining a proud network of schools dedicated to nurturing the future leaders of our community.
We’re excited for what lies ahead as Winding Creek Elementary School takes shape, bringing both new educational opportunities and a sense of pride to Roseville!
